Our communities have a history of investing in our schools and ensuring our students have the learning environment they need to be successful today. This generosity and the importance placed on education is what makes the Center Point-Urbana Community School District a special place.

 

However, like many school districts across Iowa, we continue to grapple with facility challenges and strive to identify solutions that will provide more resources and opportunities to students.

 

On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, voters who reside in our district will consider a general obligation bond referendum of up to $20.615 million. If approved, these funds will support a bold proposal to enhance safety and security, strengthen our facilities, and create new spaces to help students fulfill their potential — all without increasing our debt levy rate and raising property taxes.
